PLACEMENT
The Placement cell of Brindavan College of Management works year-round in building relationships and networking with industry professionals from across multiple sectors.
The Placement Cell is dedicated to advising students on career options and providing them with the latest information on industry internship and final placement opportunities. Apart from the facilitation services, it also arranges for training and industry interaction sessions. The Placement Cell of Brindavan provides 100% assistance for Industry Internships and final Placements.
Brindavan’s Placement Cell is an interface between industry practitioners and the student-body of Brindavan College of Management, facilitating both entities to make strategic hiring and career decisions. The library is a nerve of an educational institution. The primary mission of the library is to support the educational activities of the institution by providing access to information, consistent with the present and future needs of the institute and the users.
The College has built a new spacious Library spanning a total floor area of 600 sq mt. Library houses about 9,300 books and subscriptions to over - National (63) and International (33) journals.
The Library comes with provision for stock section, circulation section and reference section with advanced computers with internet connected for information searching. The Library reading space can accommodate nearly 250 library users.
The library has been using the "EASYLIB", an integrated library management software package with all the modules for the library house keeping operations.

Library serves as a resource center and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for faculty and students of the institute.

GOAL

To acquire, organize Information resources to meet the present and future needs of its users.

DOCUMENTS COLLECTION

Collection Organization : The library has adopted Open Access System. Documents are classified as per International Classification System ‘Dewey Decimal Classification’.
Automation: "Easylib" software is installed in the library's Computers and used for Library Management. Bar-coding labels are pasted to all books in the library. 'Digital Borrower's Cards' are issued to all Staff and Students.
Library Working Hours : Brindavan College of Engineering library users can use the library for their academic and research progress during following days.
Working Days - Monday to Saturday
Timings - 09.00 am to 08.00 pm

LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP

All students, faculty members of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership.

LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATION

Books Lending:Book(s) will be issued for 15 days with renewal of 15 days. The library cards are not transferable. Student members get 2 books and staff members get 4 books.
Loss of book(s):Loss of Book(s) if any shall be reported to the librarian immediately and a new copy shall be replaced immediately. In case the borrower is unable to replace the lost book(s), twice value of the lost book(s) plus overdue charges, if any, will be levied.


Library Services

Brindavan College of Engineering Library is providing services to support for the learning and teaching process.

Books Reservation:Users can reserve a book, which is already lent out. Reserved books are kept in the counter for 2 days. The reservation lapses automatically after 2 days.

OPAC: (Online Public Access Catalogue)OPAC allows users to search all materials (such as Books, Journals, Magazines, etc.) available in the Library collection.

Reference Service:The Library maintains a separate reference collection consisting of encyclopedias, dictionaries, directories, handbooks, atlases, etc. Reference books are stamped as "REFERENCE "

Internet Facility:Internet facility is provided in the library for web search

Reprographic Facility:Users can take Xerox copies of Reading material available in the library from library 'Photocopier' for nominal charges.

About the Course: The MBA course is approved by AICTE, Govt. of India and is run under the curriculum of Bengaluru University, The course is carefully designed and updated by the university keeping in view the changing needs of manufacturing and service industry. Upon successful completion of the course, the degree is awarded by Bengaluru University.
Young managers are required at different levels in the areas of Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Information Technology and so on. The curriculum puts significant emphasis on the ability of the student to have an integrated view of the management and apply them to the real life situations. It lays emphasis on taking decisions and developing focussed education combined with practical exposure to create value to the students coming out of academics. It aims at developing students into effective managers with good communication skills and leadership capabilities. The attributes that are ingrained in them are knowledge, skills, values and attitudes.
Duration : 2 years consisting of 4 semesters.
Eligibility : Candidates who have passed Bachelor Degree examination of Bengaluru University with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate in all the three years of Degree examination or any other University equivalent thereto with 50% marks. However in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST & Cat-I the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45% of marks.

At the time of admission students have to produce the ranks obtained in any one of the National Level Test/State Level Test / PGCET/ K-MAT score Certificate.
Attendance : 75% attendance is compulsory in each semester for appearing for Bengaluru University Examinations. 
Academic Activities : Highly qualified and experienced faculties handle various subjects. There will be a number of guest lectures on different topics and contemporary issues, seminars, presentations, group discussions, panel discussions, workshops, industry-institute interaction, industrial visits apart from regular classes which helps in improving the overall personality of the student and make him/her face the challenges of the industry confidently.
Internal Assessment : Maximum 25 marks in each subject. Minimum is 12.5 marks.
Examination : Twice in a year in January and June. Examination will be conducted once in a year for repeaters. Each theory paper carries 75 marks in all semesters.
Scheme of valuation : As per Bengaluru University regulations.
Promotion to next year : There are 14 subjects in I and II semesters. A student is required to pass at least 11 out of 14 subjects to qualify for III semester as per norms.

Vacation : 

After I/III semester, there will be a vacation for about 2 weeks as notified by the University.
After II semester, there will be a vacation for about 2 months as notified by the University.
Outcome of the Course : After completing theMBAcourse, students will be able to use their management skills and practice in the following areas.
